hd-analog-security-camera.jpgAfter our comparison what we consider is the best solution?

If we talk about solutions and not cameras or dvr by itself and we talk about specification, diversity, image quality, shipset, and cost (cost). Then HDTVI is our winner solution. While we also consider HD-SDI a winner TVI image quality is very very close to SDI but the cost makes a huge difference.

Let's say that in the market HD-TVI  cameras are found for $30 to $40 the fixed camera and $38 to $50 varifocal while an HD-SDI camera will not be found for less than $75.

The other important point is the transmision distance. HDTVI is much better than HDSDI in this aspect.

Then we have a winner here. HDSDI probably will desapear of the market in the following years. The same is happening with Analog Cameras. With a price very close to AHD people chose AHD 720p cameras instead search for an analog system.

Today most of the customers preffer do an upgrade to 1080p than replace an analog or SDI camera.

Image Comparison:

  • All HD Analog formats offer cameras that capture up to 1080p resolution.
  • HD-SDI and HD-TVI produce sharper images with more accurate colors

Video Transmission Distance

  • HD-TVI offers the longest transmission without signal degradation across both RG59 and CAT5 cabling.

Camera Selection & Configuration Flexibility

  • HD-TVI allows the user to connect to any analog or HD-TVI camera, on any DVR channel, and is the only HD Analog format that supports IP cameras.
  • Other formats are limited in both camera compatibility and channel configurations.

Security Camera Cost Comparison:

  • HD-TVI, HD-CVI and AHD cameras and recorders are available at similar costs to the end user.
  • HD-SDI is considerably more expensive, with compatibility limitations that significantly increase Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

At Planet Security USA we offer every solutions but we are leaders in USA market distributing HD-TVI Cameras.

Definitibly after all, HD-TVI got the best reviews from Security Camera Installers and our techs. The RAM andquality after installation is unique. That's the reason we always sugest TVI cameras instead any other solution available in the Surveillance Market.
